A wonderfully cooling oil; Peppermint is a great one to use during the warmer months to help keep you feeling refreshed and restored throughout the day. Its invigorating scent may be helpful in giving you that little boost of energy that might be needed during that mid afternoon slump. An ideal oil to have in the burner if you are studying.
Peppermint Essential is an incredibly versatile oil and is an excellent carminative, which means it helps settle an upset stomach; try a LOW dilution in a carrier oil and massaging clockwise over the abdomen.
Naturally clearing, Peppermint is also a popular choice to use if you're feeling bunged up from a cold. You may also find it is useful as a muscle rub after a session in the gym or garden.
It is also said to deter spiders and ants from your home.
Method of Use:
Massage: Mix up to 2 drops in total with other essential oils for massage, Making the blend a total of 6 drops diluted into a carrier oil of your choice. In all cases, less is more.
Diffuser/oil burner: 4-5 drops in TOTAL with other essential oils.
Bath: Can be mixed with other essential oils, never exceed MORE than 6 drops in total for the oil blend. Add the oils to an egg cup of full fat milk to disperse in the bath water.
